Sera Sheer has released a new song Меч (Sword) and an anime clip in which the Motherland Monument destroys the People’s Friendship Arch in Kyiv and together with superhero Cossack saves Ukraine from the Putin monster.
The song tells about the courage of Ukraine in the face of a monster enemy and looks into the future after the war, where “there will be a sky and a yellow field, and no monster at all.” Kyiv artist Artem Biriukov created the animated clip.
“This work has a long history, many hands and one huge message: when we all hold the sword together, monsters don’t stand a chance,” says Oleksandra Shcherbakova, leader of the Sera Sheer project and art director of the Banda agency.
The singer published the first part of the composition online back in March. The video series was a little different, but it also talked about the events in Ukraine — Looney Tunes and Disney heroes faced off against pigs and Adolf Hitler.
